Technical Requirements for Control Panel Labels
- Vibration Resistance: On surfaces constantly exposed to vibration, such as an aircraft engine, helicopter cabin or armored vehicle body, both the label's print and its adhesion/mounting system must withstand this vibration.
- Thermal Shock Tolerance: Cockpit interior temperature differences can range from -40°C to +85°C; the material and ink used must not crack or blister within this range.
- Resistance to Finger Contact: On buttons that are touched constantly, text and symbols must be protected against oil, sweat and friction.

Standard ink-printed labels can fade within a few years under cockpit UV light and constant hand contact. That's why, in defense and aviation projects, we mostly combine acid etching or laser engraving with button designs featuring transparent lexan windows. This combination guarantees both that indicator lights remain visible and that the text is physically indelible.

Dimensional tolerance is critical in these projects. That is why every batch undergoes millimeter-precision measurement control after production. If a result falls outside standard, that batch is remanufactured.
